Tut For Material Calculation :-

1. Create Point group.

2. Add Points by point creation tool or add by insert file as land desktop xml
document.
3. Create surface by surface creation tool and add point groups in surface
defenition.
4. Create alignment by alignment creation tool.
5.Create surface profile by surface profile creation tool at selected alignment.
6. Create proposed profile at generated surface profile alignment by tangent curve
tool.
7.Create Assembly and add subassemblies to create final geometrical section of
corridor.
8. Create corridor by choosing alignment, assembly, target surface.
9. Now add surfaces of corridor in properties-->surfaces by selecting links of
corridor model.
10.Create sample line group by adding existing ground surface and datum surfaces
for earthwork calculations
req computations at prdetermined intervals and left/right swath widths.
11. Now generate quantity takeoff criterion at settings-->quantity cutoff crit---
>Earthwork and
generate material lists by choosing surfaces as ground and datum surfaces req for
earthwork comput.
12. Now select any sample line and compute material calculations for selected
alignment and sample line group
and add quantity cutoff criterion and accordingly select surfaces for computation
and generate report.
