THEME. CALCULATION OF ACTION AREA OF WIRELESS

TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

Theory.

where P1 - power of transmitter device;

P2 - power of takers-off;
L -length of radio line;
F - a coefficient of attenuation of radio waves, spreading above a terrene, in
the investigated frequency range;
λ - is a working wave-length,
G – gain of antenna

We will designate a power supply ∆P=P1 - P2, dB, total gain of antenna
G=G1+G2, dB. For small distances of L will accept the coefficient of attenuation
F=0 dB.

Change of gain of antenna it is possible to find, using correlation

where η - an output-input of antenna ratio;

ν - is a coefficient of the use of area of aperture of antenna;
S1 - an area of aperture of antenna.

The area of round aperture of antenna is equal

where d - a diameter of antenna.

Task № 1
Calculate area of action of the system radio of access.
It is set: f=2,5 GHz, G1=G2=25 dB. To build the chart of L, m from ΔP, dB,
F=0 dB.
To do the analysis of the got chart. How to influence on the size of area of
action?

Task № 2

To expect a power supply.

It is set: G1=G2=25 dB, L= 100 m. To build the chart Δof P, dB from f,
GHz.
To do the analysis of the got chart. How to influence on the area of action at
the fixed frequency?

Task № 3

To expect gain of antenna for the system of wireless access, if F2(θ)=1.

Task № 4

To expect gain of antenna of G for the system of wireless access through the
area of aperture. To build the chart of G(f) in a range from 0,9 to 10 GHz for d=
0,8 m (for a paraboloid ν=0,9).

Task № 5

To expect gain of antennaof G(d) on frequency of f=2,5 GHz for aperture of

antenna by a diameter a from 0,1 to 2 m (for a paraboloid ν=0,9).
