"21st Century Learners, Move forward to a Successful Globalization"

         Goodmorning everyone, I am glad and thankful today because we will graduate now, and
as the class valedictorian, I am grateful to see all of you in front of me and to listen to my
valedictory speech. To the school administrator, to all the members of the faculty, to all the
parents, to all the graduating students, to our beloved principal, and especially to our guest
speakers, a pleasant and blessed morning to all of you. It is an honor to deliver this valedictory
speech to all the graduating students. According to Erick Qualman, we don’t have a choice on
whether we use social media, but the question is how well we do it. followed by the quotation
made by Alvin Toffler that "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read
and write but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn."

My purpose is not to brag but to influence all of you as a 21st-century learner, as we all know.
As a 21st-century learner, it is not as simple as the way we learned from our parents. But we also
have an advantage as 21st century learners because we can use different technologies that can
help facilitate our studies. The use of different highly technological objects seems different; can
you guess what I was talking about? Yes, it is our social media. Social media has had such a
tremendous influence that today's billions of people, especially students, are present on various
platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. But what is the purpose of this? So I know that we
are very open to all the known platforms, but did you use them carefully? Maybe it is a big
question. We should be grateful to have all this, but don't use it to make regrets. I used it to help
and to have advance knowledge. I know that sometimes we can't avoid using it, and that can give
us distractions, but I know it gives us some happiness and a peaceful mind.

One thing that I wouldn’t forget as I threw up my graduation cap into the sky was the help of
social media in our learning, from sharing different chikas to serving as the bridge for Maritesan
and for sharing answers to our assignments. Capturing those sleeping students, secretly capturing
someone, creating epic images that make anyone laugh, and capturing presentations instead of
writing them that I didn't make when I was in junior high and elementary school were all big
deals. Storing memories on social media has become one of social media's most significant
contributions in our senior high school lives. From just chatting with our parents when we left
something at home to ordering food online and watching tutorials for our project, But one thing
I'll never forget is that we're graduating as a business minded as we are being by those videos
who shown different way and techniques on having a great and successful business

But yes, it is a fun experience, but remember that there is no happiness without sadness. Our
schedule are always hectic, activities comes on the same time that made us stress. Teachers
always get mad at our noisy classmates. Crying on the failed exam, overthinking when we feel
we do our best and also there is the expectation, from the teachers, to our parents and especially
to our student, it is not easy to handle the situation where we failed on something. Having a big
responsibilities as being a role model is not an easy one. Being harassed or bashed in the
classroom, having a misunderstanding to our classmates and to be compared. And especially
when social media interferes with our ability to review something. As an individual grew up
from the poor family, it is not easy to join to those grew up in the middle class family as we our
money is not enough to faired the demand of those student.
As we graduate and embark on a new journey, let us use this platform to improve our skills and
mindset in order to ensure the success of our future as well as our economy; let this platform be a
bridge to a better society from which all people can benefit.Even though it has many
disadvantages, its advantages are what matter.That memorable experience you store on that
platform will inspire you when you feel sad and alone in the near future. We all work hard to
pursue our goals and become successful global citizens. Let us all move forward to a successful
globalization because we, the 21st century learners, can make a big impact on the globalization
of our world.
