 Development work at Rashakai SEZ is in Progress

with estimated cost of US$128 Million and
employment generation of 200,000 (Estimated
investment US$4 Billion)
 Five new Economic Zones of Nowshera Extension,
Chitral EZ, Jalozai EZ, D.I Khan EZ and Mohmand
EZ launched in the Province with estimated cost of
PKR 10 billion and employment generation of
80,000 (Attracting Estimated Investment of PKR 30
Billion)
 During the last three years in various Economic
Zones of the Province;
 331 New Manufacturing Units established
 136 Units revived
 214 under construction
 With employment generation of 38000

 Two new Small Industrial Estates of Abbotabad II

and Dargai launched with estimated cost of PKR
1.5 Billion and employment generation of 10,000
(Attracting Estimated Investment of PKR 6 Billion)

During the last three years in various SIEs of the

Province 388 industrial units operationalized with
employment generation of 30,000 (Investment of
PKR8Billion)

 Establishment of Sole Enterprise Special Economic
Zone by Premier Cement Limited (Sapphire Group)
at Dera Ismail Khan with estimated investment
US$185 million – under approval process at BoI
Islamabad

 Fatima Cement Limited (Fatima Group) is intending

to Establish Special Economic Zone at Dera Ismail
Khan with estimated investment of US$300million

 Established modern state of the art Bottling Plant at

 Hattar with estimated investment of US$50million

 Establishment of Century Steel Industry at

Rashakai SEZ with estimated investment of
US$360million (Under Progress)

 Establishment of Al Haj Asia Star Steel Industry at

Gadoon Industrial Estate Swabi with investment of
