CONCEPT

The Quiz Contest is organized to understand and gain knowledge about the Heritage of not only our Country as
well as World Heritage which would nurture one’s mind and also this programme would promote interest and
desire among students to learn and appreciate the history, tourism and sharing the vast cultural heritage of
our country and World.

Event Format:

 The Quiz Contest would be organized in two phases. First is the Preliminary or EliminationRound
and second is the Final Round
 The questions shall encompass the domain of Indian and World Heritage.

The detail of each round is mentioned hereunder:-

Preliminary Round

 There would be an Online Preliminary Round to be held on Tuesday, 18th April 2023
from 5 p.m. onwards
 In the online elimination round, there would be 30 Questions to be attempted in a time limitof 15
minutes

  The Top 6 Teams shall qualify for the Finals
 Each team shall comprise of 2 members
 For the Phase One both members shall need to take the Quiz individually and their sum totalshall be
considered to determine the Top 6 teams
 On Monday, April 17th 2023, a briefing session shall be conducted for all teacher in-chargesfrom the
participating schools. As part of the briefings session the entire process for theOnline Elimination
Round shall be explained
 In case of a tie, the team who has responded faster shall be selected

The results of the Online Elimination Round shall be declared on Friday, April 21 2023

Final Round

 The Online Final Round would be held on Tuesday, 25th April 2023 from 5 p.m. onwards
 The Rules and the flow of rounds for the Finals shall be announced by the Quiz Master at the time of
start of the Final Rounds

Note:-

 A day prior to the Online Elimination Round the Institute’s Teacher In-charge and one member from
each team shall be invited to attend a short briefing session for the Quiz so that the participants are
familiar with the process for the Online Elimination Round
 All Participants shall be awarded with an e-Certificate of Participation
 The Finalists shall be awarded with Certificate of Special mention as well as Gift voucher.

The Winner, 1 Runner-up & 2 Runner-up shall be awarded with Medal, Certificate of Appreciation
and Gift voucher.
