Mount Everest
Everest Mountain is part of the Himalayas, located in Southeast Asia, between the
Indian subcontinent and the rest of Asia. Its summit consists of very hard snow
surrounded by another layer of snow that can be reduced or increased. It is a little
higher in September and in May I could also hear and decipher that a few meters
below the summit is the "death zone", so called because the lack of oxygen and
the very low temperatures have caused several deaths of climbers. As altitude
decreases, the temperature rises, and the snow and ice cover become thinner until
the mountain rock becomes more visible.

Mount Everest is not only the highest mountain. In fact, it breaks another record, as
it is also the highest border between two countries. It is also quite interesting that,
nowadays, scientists are constantly finding remains of marine life that have been
on the bedrock for 450 million years, in the class I learned that climbers do camps
since they have been climbing the mountain for several days I could also see that
from the two places you can climb China or Nepal in both camps there are doctors,
that you can advise climbers before the ascent. Staying for some time (as needed)
at base camp helps mountaineers reduce the potential risk of health problems
related to pressure change and altitude sickness.

Someday I would like to climb Everest but just thinking that I can die scares me a
lot.
