ACTIVITY #2

INSTRUCTION: Choose one decade in the development of nursing care and

briefly discuss it in not more than 300 words in one whole yellow paper or type
written. Due on Thursday, March 23. Collate and give it to the college.

Over the years, the Philippines has come to finally embrace the use of technology
in the field of Health system particularly, in the nursing health care. In this decade,
the currently existing technological devices were improved and despite being in the
third world country, the Philippines was still able to have access in these
technology thanks to the sponsors and donation of the first world countries. One of
the devices that we had was the “SMART” stethoscope which before was only the
nurse can hear the sounds of heart and lungs, but with the advancement that came
along it can now hear by multiple persons by using the Bluetooth through smart
phone application. Another improvement was the Online nursing education
delivery which consist of a computer device which is a potential way to increase
the nursing program capacity, give conveniency for both the client and the nurse
and more specifically, give protection to one another.
