Development Impact

Physical Environment
- The nearby river was undisturbed upon the development. Changes in the landform were
not severe and do not create physical hazards to the building occupants. The slopes were
studied and it decided the roads and paths circulating the site. Further, the vegetation
cover and water body helped the site’s climatic condition to stable as they distribute
moisture and enhance heat transfer.
Biological Environment
- The site was previously a vast space of open land with troops of trees and vegetation.
Some large-scale and fruit-bearing trees were retained to provide shading areas and add
an impact to the site’s landscape. Chirps of birds make a sign that wildlife habitats on the
site were conserved. However, some of the tree-dwelling species might have been
troubled by the building development.
Cultural Environment
- Given the fact that the site was historically an extensive land of trees, no infrastructures
were interrupted but greenways were slightly altered. No problem was observed in the
vehicular and pedestrian circulation on and adjacent to the site. Visual nuisance elements
such as water tower, power lines, advertisement boards, and junkyards were taken into
account. Lastly, disturbances from outside and around the site were carefully studied,
thus, negative consequences did not arise.
