Introduction:

You have been hired by senior management to analyze the company’s supply chain and operations
to assess if the company is on the right track according to similar companies in the industry or
improvements are needed.

Instructions:

As a consultant to your chosen company’s operations, you are to create a presentation that
summarizes your company’s operations and supply chain management activities. During your
presentation, you will discuss the sections below. Your presentation will be to senior
management of your company.

The total presentation will be 10-15 minutes in length and has a limit of 10 -15 slides.
Information presented on slides should be in point form and any pictures should be pertinent to
your topic. You will be presenting in class in week 13 and all members of the group are to share
in the presentation and are required to be on camera.

4. What is the organizations competitive strategy and advantage?
5. Describe the logistics management based on supply chain management.
6. What is project management and its role in operations management?
7. Explain the company’s approach to collaborative planning, forecasting and
replenishment.
8. How does planning supply chain management activities help the company in securing
critical material?
9. What are the barriers and the effects of these barriers that are present in this
company’s operations?
10. Conclude by summarizing the organization’s success/failure of its operational activities
