Review Text about Laskar Pelangi

Introduction

Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Troops) is a fictional novel by Andrea Hirata. In 2008, this
novel was adapted into a movie with the same title. The movie was directed by Riri
Riza.

Evaluation

The Laskar Pelangi novel tells a story of 10 elementary school students in Gantong
Village, Bangka Belitung Province. The novel describes the real condition of the poor
villagers. Happiness and sadness are mixed together. No wonder so many people
cry when reading the novel.

Interpretation

The story of Laskar Pelangi really touched my heart. This novel is very inspiring,
especially for children who strive for their dreams. I have read this book so many
times.

I give it an 8.0 / 10 rating for the moral value told in the novel.

Summary

The Laskar Pelangi novel is very worth reading. Especially to fill in spare time. The
Laskar Pelangi school was built to be a tourist location. For those of you who are
curious about the novel, I recommend you to read it!
Review Text about the Titanic
Introduction

Who doesn’t know the Titanic movie? This legendary movie was released in 1997.
With a romance drama genre, the movie has a duration of 3.5 hours.

The movie was directed by James Cameron and broke through the high rating. The
rating on IMDb also reached 7.8/10.

Evaluation

Titanic is the name of a ship in the movie. The movie tells the story of how Titanic
sank, which is based on a true story. At the beginning of the movie, the story of
Titanic was told by Rose (played by Kate Winslet) who was the one and only
survivor.

Rose tells how luxurious the ship was, her days spent with Jack (played by Leonardo
DiCaprio) and how she survived. The tragic ending made many viewers cry.

Interpretation

This movie describes the luxurious ship of Titanic in a great way. Yet, the ship
collides and wrecks. The shipwreck effect makes the audience seem to be at the
scene.

However, I didn’t like the ending of the film because only Rose survived. There is no
happy ending. I give it a rating of 7.0/10.

Summary

Even so, Titanic is very worth watching. This movie has been shown frequently on
local TV stations, so make sure you watch it!
review text film Harry Potter: Order of The Phoenix
Orientation:
I absolutely love the Harry Potter series, and all of the books will always hold a
special place in my heart.

Evaluasi 1:
I have to say that of all of the books, however, this was not my favorite.

Evaluasi 2:
When the series began it was as much of a "feel good" experience as a huge mug of
hot cocoa. The stories were bright, fast-paced, intriguing, and ultimately satisfying.

Interpretation:
Order of the Phoenix is a different kind of book. In some instances this works...you
feel a whole new level of intensity and excitement by the time you get to the end. I
was truly moved by the last page. Other times the book just has a slightly dreary,
depressing feel. The galloping pace of the other books has slowed to a trot here, and
parts of it do seem long, as if we're reading all about Harry "just hanging out" instead
of having his usual adventures. Reading in detail about Harry cleaning up an old
house, for example - housekeeping is still housekeeping, magical or no, and I'm not
very interested in doing it or reading about other people doing it.

A few other changes in this book - the "real" world comes much more in to play
rather than the fantasy universe of the previous books, and Harry has apparently
been taken off his meds. I know that he had a lot to be grumpy in this book,
especially with being a teenager and all, but the sudden change in his character
seemed too drastic. He goes from being a warm-hearted, considerate person to
someone who will bite his best friend's heads off over nothing. It just seemed like it
didn't fit with his character, like he turned into a walking cliché of the "angry teen"
overnight.

Summary:
The "real" story seemed to happen in the last 1/3 of the book, and this part I loved. I
actually liked the ending (and yes, I cried!) as sad as it was. It packed a punch and it
made me care about the story even more. Still a really good book, with some editing
it would have been great.
Review Text Film The Maze Runner
The Maze Runner is a film adaptation of James Dashner’s novel of the same name.

The movie tells of a group of people trying to escape from a place called Glade, but
they have to go through a maze with dangerous creatures called Grievers.

The film tells the story of a young boy named Thomas who wakes up in an
underground service elevator with no memory of his identity.

A group of male youths greet him in a large grassy area called the Glade,
surrounded by high stone walls. Each month a new boy arrives at the elevator with
supplies.

The boys, called Glaiders, form a rudimentary society, each with a specialized
mission, and have been in Glade for about three years.

Their leader, Alby, who was the first to arrive at the glade, says that all the boys
eventually remember his name.

But none of them remember his past, and learn that the giant maze surrounding the
glade may be the only exit.

All the actors’ performances are great. Good character development too. But if there
is a love scene, the movie will be more exciting.

Because, as we know, romance often grabs the attention of audiences.

I think this movie is a great sci-fi movie. This movie shows how to fight for life. The
film also shows that we can coexist with all races. For example, Minho and Albi. So I
want everyone to see this movie.
