TITANIC 1997

Did you know that Titanic has been named the highest-grossing film of all
time for 12 years? This record is certainly an extraordinary achievement.
Interestingly, Titanic is often aired throughout the year, on various TV
stations. This love story set in the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912 has
indeed succeeded in inspiring many people. Curious? Before watching,
there's nothing wrong with reading the synopsis of Titanic, which we
summarize below just for you.

Titanic tells the story of a treasure seeker named Brock Lovett. He and his
team are obsessed with "searching" the wreck of the RMS Titanic. The goal
is only one, namely to get the Heart of the Oceans, which is a diamond
necklace that is believed to be buried with the wreck of the RMS Titanic.
Unfortunately, the quest yielded nothing but a chest. It was just a sheet of
paper with a painting of a woman. She wears a Heart of the Oceans
necklace.

News of Brock Lovett's discovery was broadcast via CNN. A 101 year old
woman watched the show and called Lovett. She claimed to be a painting
girl wearing Heart of the Ocean. Lovett was certainly very interested, he
then asked Rose, the old woman to visit him. Rose flew with her grandson
to the location where the painting was found. Next, to all the treasure
search team, Rose told. In 1912, Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet)
travels with her mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukater. At that time Rose was only
17 years old. However, she is engaged to a businessman named Caledon
Nathan Hockley. Rose didn't love Cal at all. However, for some reason,
Rose lives up to her role as Cal's fiancé. Although in her heart she rebelled
and felt that her life as a princess in a noble family was not pleasant.
Unable to do so, Rose plans to commit suicide by jumping from the running
ship RMS Titanic.
The attempt failed because a handsome young man named Jack Dawson
(Leonardo DiCaprio) got in the way. The young man climbed aboard the
RMS Titanic by luck. He is in the 3rd class passenger zone. Because of his
meritorious efforts, Cal invites Jack to dinner. Although deep down she
clearly didn't like Jack.

Starting from the invitation, Rose and Jack's relationship became more
intimate. Rose tells of her life that is always restrained. Meanwhile, Jack
tells about his fun adventure. They fell in love. Unfortunately, Rose
dismissed these feelings, because she was too afraid to face all the
obstacles in front of them. But in a sweet way, Jack reassured her. Rose
also rebelled. Cal's mother was also furious. But Rose still chose Jack.

Unfortunately, their love story is only as long as the RMS Titanic. The
charming giant ship was unable to escape from the giant ice floes in the
ocean. The ship was badly damaged. Everyone was evacuated. The
nobility got first order in the rescue process, including Rose in it. However,
her love for Jack makes her run away from her mother as well as Cal. He
ran to save Jack who was in handcuffs on the ship. Jack was previously
slandered by Cal for stealing the Heart of the Ocean necklace.

In the end Rose found Jack and managed to free him from the handcuffs.
Unfortunately they were both late. The Titanic was almost sinking. No more
lifeboats for them. However, Jack and Rose are not separated. Jack and
Rose jump off the Titanic which starts to burn. They tossed about in the sea
with biting temperatures. Rose and Jack find pieces of the wreck.
Unfortunately, the section can not accommodate both.

So Jack let Rose float and he was in the water. Due to the biting
temperature, Jack finally died holding Rose's hand. The girl was
devastated but could not do anything.

After some time, another rescue team arrived. Rose survived in the end.
He let go of Jack's hand which then merged with the water in the ocean.
Arriving on the mainland, Rose changed her name to Rose Dawson, after
Jack's last name. In the pocket of Cal's coat he was wearing, Rose found
the Heart of the Ocean necklace. The necklace was kept until he was 101
years old.
After telling the story, old Rose was invited by a team of treasure seekers
to explore the wreck of the RMS Titanic. Rose was so happy that her
memories of everyone on the ship came back to life. And on the steps
where she used to dance, Jack was waiting for her. Rose held out her
hand. They both smiled happily. At the end of the story, old Rose closed
her eyes forever and merged with all her memories of the Titanic.
