Harang Rituals are divided into three Parts


1) Pagtawag (Invitation)
2) Pangamuyo (Pleading/ Prayers
3) Bayad (offering)
Through some starts with Tuob, or Fumigation and the partaking of goods by the
attendants of the ritual

Surodon
Are obligatory rites and callings that are followed by the antiquehanon of the visayas
region. Surodon which come from the word Sunod that menas”obey” is followed by
people from the padt up to the present, and it is continually be done by passing it on the
younger generation

Magic
Is the power that apparently influence the course of events through the intercession and
aid of supernatural forces

An example of this is when a child who just had bruises, is asked to pray and the pain
goes away after praying.

- First, in suffering, we must creatively transform the situation that causes us to suffer

- Second, as a human being, we are vulnerable to the weakness of the human factor and
that although we are guilty of the wrongs we have done, we should not alow ourselves to
wallow in self-pity. Instead, we should be responsibble enough to conquer such guilt
feelings by ascending over such transgression, growing beyond ourselves, and by
changing ourselves.
