INCIDENT REPORT

Dear Parents
We write to inform you that the school received an e- mail on its official mail id on
16.10.2022 at 01.55 a.m. threatening to blast the school the day after. As soon as
it came to our knowledge we communicated the same to the Sola Police Station
and Cybercrime department. The Police Inspector Shri. JB Agravat Sir immediately
reached the school campus with his team and communicated this matter to his
senior officials including ACP Sir, DCP Sir and DCP Sir- Crime Branch. Crime Branch
Police Inspector Shri. A D Parmar Sir and his team acted upon matter and within a
few hours found out that it was a prank mail sent by a student in consultation with
three others. Meanwhile the bomb squad thoroughly checked the entire school
premises and nearby areas from safety point of view. All the precautions were
taken by the school and police department for safety and protection of all
stakeholders.
The student who sent the prank mail was identified and taken to crime Branch at
12:30 a.m. on 17.10.2022 along with their parents for interrogation. Three others
were also called with their parents in the afternoon to the crime branch. They were
Interrogated and counseled by the police, their parents and school management
representatives.
The School management has taken strict actions against them.
JGIS appreciates the efforts put in by the Police and Crime Branch department
officials for resolving the matters in just a few hours.
