5. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SPARTUS® EasyMIG 210s / 210 / 215 / 225
These are high-end semi-automatic welding machines made of inverter technology using
IGBTs, which allow welding with a fusible electrode in an inert and active gas shield (MIG/MAG),
welding with coated electrode (MMA) and TiG Lift welding with ignition arc by rubbing. In ad-
dition, the devices allow welding with self-shielding wire without gas, thanks to the possibility
of changing the welding polarity.
Maximum welding current for MIG/MAG/TIG methods is 200A (220A for MIG 225), for MMA is:
160A for MIG 210s, 180A for MIG 210 / 215 and 200A for MIG 225. They are powered from single
phase 230V source power.
The devices are equipped with synergistic programs for MIG / MAG welding with steel wires in
the diameter range 0.6 / 0.8 / 1.0mm. In addition, welders have the ability to manually adjust
the set parameters.
Devices have a number of functions that support MIG / MAG welding processes:
2T / 4T – selection of one of two operating modes (MIG/MAG),
Inductance – precise arc dynamics adjustment Wave Control ensures full control over the wel-
ding arc: it allows to reduce the amount of welding splashes and controls the
width and depth of fusion,
Burn Back – (model 215 and 225) precise adjustment of welding wire burning speed allows limit
a risk of sticking the welding wire to the contact tip,
Slow Feed – (model 215 and 225) so called gentle start-up of the wire feeder, recommended
especially during welding with high amperage and high speed of wire feed. Smooth
start of wire feed eliminates the risk of welding defects at the beginning of the weld,
Hot Start – for easier electrode ignition (MMA),
Arc Force – for easier welding in forced positions (MMA),
Spool Gun – lightweight and durable welding gun with built-in wire feeder designed for MIG/
MAG welding,
VRD – lower no-load voltage (MMA).
High class two-roll wire feeder, ensures stable feeding of steel, stainless steel and aluminum
welding wire. Stable output parameters guarantee appropriate weld quality.
5.1 PURPOSE OF USE
SPARTUS® EasyMIG 210s / 210 / 215 / 225 welding devices are designed for:
• Metal Inert Gas welding (MIG) or Metal Active Gas welding (MAG),
• Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW, FCA),
• Tungsten Inert Gas welding (TIG),
• Manual Metal Arc welding (MMA).

8. MAINTENANCE
W
ARNING!
Before performing any maintenance or repairing of device, disconnect welding machine from
the power source and wait at least 5 minutes. The voltage accumulated in capacitors should
be discharged at this time to a safe level. But even after that operation you should be careful.
ake sure that the device is disconnected from the power source, and switch 6 is in the OFF posi-
M
tion, before connecting accessories and shielding gas to the device.
Maintenance and repair work may be performed only by qualified personnel with the appropriate per-
missions. Regular maintenance provides adequate service life and trouble-free operation of the device.
