OPERATION

1. Positioning of Vehicle/Equipment against aircraft

2. Driver’s license/Driving rules

3. Presence of FOD on the ramp/apron area

4. Malfunction units unattended

5. Handling of vehicle when not in use

6. Passenger boarding during refuelling

7. Ramp personnel must always wear PPE and must know about response activities
- Must have driving permit (MAB)
- According to respective classes is only allowed to drive at
apron area

1) MDL/JCPL – Class 1/2/3

2) CARGO PALLET TRANSPORTER – Class 1/2/3
3) Belt loader – class 1/2
4) Tractor – class 1
5) Van/kanchill – class 1
RAMP AREA SPEED LIMIT:

1. 5 KM/H for movement around 5 meter of aircraft

2. 20KM/H for movement in terminal areas
3. 25 KM/H for movement around terminal/ cargo areas
4. 45 KM/H hour for movement at axces road
