Like a dress making pattern or jigsaw, print pages at A4 on a regular domestic printer. Tape
the pages together, joining Al to Al, A2 to A2 etc. cut the shapes out from cardboard. Follow
the illustrated instructions to put the pieces together and start your Cardboard Adventure.

For best results make sure you set the SCALE to 700% when you print the pattern PDF.

Grey Shapes

You may notice in the SHAPE LAYOUT section of the PATTERN PDF there are some
shapes which are coloured grey. These are simple shapes (regular squares or rectangles), and
in order to save ink and paper, measurements and details are provided inside the shape for you
to measure and cut these without needing a paper pattern.

Video Guide

Some of our patterns come with accompanying How To Videos, recorded by our designer
Sam Wilde. It is our hope to add more of these as Cardboard Adventures continues to grow
and develop.

Double Layering

Simply put, Double Layering is when you have two identical pieces and you glue one on top of
the other. It's very helpful when you want to create stronger (or thicker) pieces which need to be
a little more durable, straight or thicker than a single cardboard layer.
