i. Acquire the needed licenses and permits

To start the business of theme park in Cambodia, first we musk take on the required permits
and licenses. We will need a business license and the local permits to start our theme park.
Furthermore, there are some other licenses and regulations we need and want to follow up to
before the theme park opens. We probably require state theme park licenses, public
entertainment licenses, local food or alcohol service licenses, and many more.

3
ii. Every visitor must obey with every rule and regulations

An infringement of any theme park rule is reason for ejection without exchange, credit or
return. All children that are below the age of 15, must be accompanied by their parent, leader
of the group, or legal guardian. It is because we need to keep our visitors save and prevent
any types of incident happen in our theme park. Incident such as kidnapping, bully by other
older children, children who are lost and many more.

iii. All visitors might be recorded in the theme park

In our theme park, we may video, film, photograph or copy and capture in any way any
sound or voice of any people, picture, act, event, or anything that happen in the theme park.
We may also use show, broadcast, distribute, course, change, modify, make any subsidiary of
appropriate, exchange, permit or offer that for any use or reason. This is because when there
is any incident or accident happen, we will know who or what started it.

2.2 Political

i. Taxation
Cambodia has minimum tax, it is a different and distinct tax from the tax on profit. It is
forced at the rate of 1% of the yearly turnover comprehensive of all taxes with the except for
VAT. It is payable at the season of the yearly liquidation of the tax on profit. The minimum
tax might be decreased by the yearly tax on the profit that is really paid. Compared to
numerous different nations, Cambodia has the lowest tax regime. Besides, the
straightforwardness of the tax code makes compliance generally clear. Inability to properly
register and pay, while unfortunately common, can involve grave consequences for any
reputable business. This is one of the benefit for our company to earn more profit is the
taxation in Cambodia is quite low.

4
ii. Tourism
The Royal Government would advance the improvement of tourism and make it to end up
tourism of culture and nature. It would increase the private and public investment focusing
at work up tourist framework. It would guarantee security and political steadiness. Tourist
work must be connected with the conversation of common social legacy and indigenous
habitat. While the population of tourism is high, it may attract more tourism to our
company, and it can also increase the population of our company.

iii. Investment Policy

The Royal Government of Cambodia promotes the inside and outer investments through the
use of the standard and the support of the speculation strategy of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
It reinforces its collaboration with friendly nations and their establishments keeping in mind
to attract more invest, created nations and the extension of the business sectors. To have a
decent situation for the venture, the social, political steadiness and the strength of the full
scale economy must be guaranteed. The Royal Government of Cambodia may change and
reinforce the foundation, which is in charge of the exercises of the speculation, particularly
for the improvement of the application of the investment undermining the illegal activities
and corruption.

2.3 Economic

i. Cambodia economic outlook

Cambodia’s economy should remain stable this year, expanding only slightly robust 7.0% a
year ago. GDP development this year has been supported by strong garment sector exports
and healthy agricultural production. Fiscal policy has also been supportive of developing:
shortfall is set to extend impressively this year, taking after a help to government workers'
compensation toward the start of the year. Tourism, however, has developed at a much
slower pace contrasted with a year ago. If Cambodia GDP increase year by year, it will help
in our company profit more higher.

5
ii. Cambodian Resorts on the Increase
International tourist arrivals in Cambodia have taken off in the previous year, with entries
into Siem Reap up 30% in the initial eight months of 2012 over a similar period the earlier
year. The tourist industry was hit hard by the global economic crisis in 2008 and 2009, but
has recovered well in the most recent three years. With the constantly expanding quantities
of tourist arrivals, experts say resorts are currently turning into an energizing speculation
opportunity in Cambodia. But with the expanding quantities of international visitors, there is
more interest for western style boutique and resort style convenience. According to global
real estate giants CBRE, the first quarter of 2012 saw a 51 per cent expansion in
international visitors to Sihanoukville. This expansion has been halfway determined by the
presentation of the main flight into Sihanoukville from Siem Reap: part of the
administration's arrangement to associate the sanctuaries of the north with the beaches of the
south.

iii. Foreign direct investment (FDI)

All through the 1990s, Cambodia pulled in expanding measures of FDI. At the point when
seen on a US Dollar for every $1,000 GDP premise, Cambodia has done fantastically and
looks at positively to China and Vietnam by this measure. The enhancing political and
macroeconomic circumstance has helped, as has the openness of the economy. As indicated
by the official figures provided by the Cambodian government, Malaysia was the greatest
financial supplier during the 1994–2001 period, with 31.2% of all speculation and 79% of
ASEAN investment over this period. Why has Malaysian done as such well in Cambodia?
Malaysia was the first country to sign a respective visa exclusion concurrence with
Cambodia in 1992 and Malaysian investors were the first to come and in this way got a
considerable number of investment concessions, incorporating concessions in mining and
forestry. FDI figures in Cambodia as in numerous other developing countries, especially
LDCs, depend on endorsed investment. Cambodia's approve figure for FDI streams in the
period 1994–2001 is near $6 billion. According to a study done by the UNCTAD real figure
for a similar period is to some degree beneath $1.4 billion.

2.4 Culture
i. Religion

Many Cambodians follow Theravada Buddhism. This religion educates that life and death in
the world are tangled through the idea of resurrection. Everyone lives their life as a worldly-
minded person and counting on their behavior will return in their next life as a higher or lower
being.

ii. Social Orders

Cambodia is an aggregate society, people take second place to the gathering whether this is the
family, neighborhood or organization. In such social orders, behavior and convention rules are
used to keep up a feeling of basic concordance. For instance, subtle communication styles are
used with a specific end goal to minimize the odds of making offense others. The idea of facing
as well ties in with this aggregate viewpoint. Securing both one's own particular and other's face
is critical. Face can generally be interpreted as a blend of respect, poise and open notoriety that
is credited to a person. Face can be given, gather and also can be lost. Foreigners in Cambodia
should know about the mechanics of face to guarantee they don't make anybody lose confront as
a solution of unintended activities.

4.0 Recommendation

i. Genting Highland company should let Cambodia government hold half of the share.
Genting Highland firm should let Cambodia government hold half of the share is because it
may cost a huge amount of capital to pay for everything and it may also give Genting group a
financial risk. For example, Cambodia government should give Genting group a huge land
for developed the theme park. In this cases, this may also help Cambodia to increase their
tourism population. Moreover, if the population is getting increase then the economy of the
Cambodia is also getting better.
