I. Synopsis

Pamilya Ordinaryo is the filmed by Eduardo W. Roy Jr. starring by Hasmine Killip as
Jane and Ronwaldo Martin as Aries it won best picture in 2016. This is the story of the
two parents Jane and Aries, these two young people are living off the streets by
stealing money and one day life takes back at them by stealing their baby named
Arjan.

II. Reflection

This film is sort of more gritty, dark and raw it sorts of touches on the theme of poverty
and the poor conditions of the lifestyle in Philippines. This is not just an easy movie
wherein people got an early pregnancy, but rather portrays how messed up society
are. Now, the stress on watching this film is over whelming the two lead characters
are very prone to committing mistakes but we can’t really blame them because the
story establishes the background of the characters on what they think and act. Setting
of the film is already a story in itself the thing is one must not assume that these
realities happen on this particular parts of Manila only these things can happen to
anyone. Some people always take advantage to others because there are means to
survive, distrust happens because of some people prove that they are not worthy of
being trusted. The script of the film is full of curses and street language there’s no
single profound thing the cast have said. The last part of the film went too far but it
isn’t indeed an effective climax and the ending scene followed is haunting and
deliberately frustrating. This style creates impression that life goes on and not all
problems are solved within a short period of time but these are the things that these
people are willing to go through to get their loves one back.
