Different people holds different opinions on whether sense or sensibility matters more in a

romance relationship. Today, I want to stand for sense side. At the beginning of my speech, I want
to define some key words. Here sensibility refers to a person who is and sentimental, logic,
reasoning who can empathize with the suffering of others and can experience the emotional
changes of anything. Sense means that rationality is the purposeful action after logical judgment,
based on emotion. What is also worthy of mentioning that romance is a genuine feeling of love
between two sentient beings, here we mean long-term relationship, not include crush,
irresponsible for sex.

First and foremost, I ‘d like to introduce you the status of quo. Love filled with emotion is easy to
lead people to make irrational overheated behavior. In society, there are many malignant incidents
of suicide tendency or murder due to love.

So our house believe that sense matters more that sensibility in romance, and I will put forward
three main arguments to support my opinion.

First, too much romantic sensibility can overburden a relationship. Being too emotional in love
will make you lose yourself, lose your life, and put all your focus on your partner. Sensibility will
make people become sensitive, care about the gains and losses in love to judge whether the other
person love each other as much as they do. In this situation, people will also express their feelings
boldly and passionately and expect an equal response. So in order to be satisfied, they tend to ask
for deeper relationships; See more threatening consequences in your partner's shortcomings or
behaviors; Be reflective, and if there are signs of this, worry about how things are going. These
kinds of behavior puts stress on your partner, which is not good for the long-term relationship.

Second, sensibility can make people lose the ability to make good judgments. Handle things with
emotion, emotions control consciousness, and the right or wrong of events are only judged by
emotion, which is easy to collapse. For example, emotional infidelities, without the constraints of
reason, with emotion, the so-called love impulse, betrayed one side. What’s more, when a couple
is arguing and both of them are filled with emotions, they often say angry words that don't express
themselves accurately. This often does not help resolve the argument, but rather consumes each
other.

Third, although we have to commit that human are sensibility animal, sense makes us different
from other wild animals. An American neuroscientist recently observed voles and concluded that
the key to love lies in the control of the decision center over the emotional center, which means
the root of love is decided by decision center in our mind, so we shouldn’t be driven by emotion
during the romance relationship.

In conclusion, love is pure and precious and seems that it is driven by emotion, but in fact, sense
help us to maintain this relationship, so our house firmly believe that sense matters more than
sensibility in romance.

other's shortcomings because of love. On the contrary, rationality causes people to think too much,
which often magnifies the other person's inadequacies and leads to arguments in the relationship.
When reason dominates love, we tend to care more about personal gains and losses, and this is not
conducive to the development of love
