Instructions for Project proposal

Go through a bunch of information resources about the firm that you have chosen to study – e.g., the
firm’s website, firm videos, annual reports, media articles, press releases, industry reports, analysts’
reviews, disclosures, and other relevant sources, as applicable. And then prepare your project proposal.
Your proposal must contain, at the minimum, the following. Use bullet points, figures & tables, as
needed, to provide your description. Keep the slides to the minimum (3-4, excluding title and
references).
1) A brief description of the firm you have chosen to study and the rationale behind choosing to
study this firm. A brief picture of the industry in which the firm operates.
2) Your initial observations about the firm’s information systems and IT initiatives (from the
information sources as stated in the beginning).
3) State at least five questions that you will ask the IS manager in the firm as part of your
discussion.
4) Provide the list of references for the information resources you have looked at.
