Over the past decade, the world has seen a large

population move from the countryside to the city.

Overpopulation, pollution and overcrowding are the conditions
of cities. To reverse the scenario, there is only hierarchy and
forced relocation. In general, There are many reasons for this
trend and it has a great impact on the development of society.

There are several reasons why there is great influx of

population in cities from rural areas. The first and foremost
reason is that need for employment. In big cities, there are
many companies and industrial zones, so the demand for labor
recruitment is also very large. Secondly, people want a better
life. Urban life is very modern, education is good and health
care is developed. Therefore, wealthy families living in the
countryside prefer to move to urban areas ,so that their
children can have a better life. Last but not least, population
migrated to urban areas due to the government's economic
development policy. The Government promulgates
macroeconomic policies to promote the country's economic
development on the basis of accelerating industrialization and
modernization. These policies have had a strong impact on the
urbanization process, thereby creating a great demand for
labor, creating an attractive attraction for migrant workers to
the city.

Population migration from rural to urban areas has both

positive and negative effects on people. A good side of this
trend is that the employment problem is solved. More
specifically, it helps people have stable income, reduce
unemployment and poverty eradication. Concerning negative
sides, it reduces population and underemployment in rural
areas. Moreover, the situation of crowded land in urban areas
is increasing. As a result, it puts great pressure on infrastructure
such as transportation, health care, education and
environmental pollution.
All in all, there are some main causes leading a great
influx of population in cities from rural areas. This trend has
both positive and negative effects, but the weak points are
more than the plus points. Therefore, local government must
strengthen population management and have timely support
policies.
