Varsity wins awards at tech expo
MANAGEMENT and Science University
(MSU) bagged ten awards including
three gold medals at the Malaysia
Technology Expo (MTE) 2023.
Securing the gold for MSU are
research work by the School of Graduate
Studies (SGS), the School of Pharmacy
(SPH), and the Faculty of Information
Sciences and Engineering (FISE). They
are; Formulation Development and
Characterization of Moisturizer Cream
using Novel Cream Base for the
Treatment of Eczema (Avena S Cream),
led by Saeid Mezail Mawazi of SPH with
team members Mohammed Kaleemullah
and Tong Jo Ann; and Green WinWind:
Design and development of an
integrated renewable energy system for
highway streetlight, led by Dr Safaa
Najah Saud Al-Humairi of FISE with

Enhancing skills in prosthodontics
INTERNATIONAL Medical
University’s (IMU) School of
Dentistry is offering a one-year
Postgraduate Diploma in
Prosthodontics (PGDPros)
which provides training in
prosthodontics for general
dental practitioners. The
primary objective of the
programme is to provide
dental practitioners with the
opportunity to enhance their
knowledge and skills in
providing patient-centred
prosthodontic treatment. The
training emphasises the
provision of care based on
current evidence and best
practices utilising appropriate
technologies and specialised
techniques.
Some highlights of the
programme include the usage
of state-of-the-art digital
technologies, its accreditation
by the Malaysian
Qualifications Agency (MQA),
highly qualified and
experienced faculty, valued
course contents, a variety of

How to write your
research paper
