    Project Plan

    Name of Project : La Hermosa


    Materials to be used :

    ● Stick Glue

    ● Cartolina

    ● Crystals/Gems

    ● Glue

    ● Folder

    ● Used Headband

    ● Pearls

    ● Balloon Stick

    ● Crepe Paper

    Rationale : I named my head piece La Hermosa to highlight one of Zamboanga’s famous festival the
    Hermosa Festival or Fiesta Pilar. The leaf on my head piece is a symbolization of one of its products,
    the coconuts. I made waves to highlight their rich aquatic resources, I put silver crystals to mimic their
    vast resources of minerals such as lead and manganese. The flowers are the representation of the
    word Zamboanga which is derived from the malay jambangan “place of flowers”. And on the waves
    are crystals that illuminate different colors that I associated with their traditional boat called Vinta. I
    also put pearls to give more recognition to their vast aquatic resources.
