While learning a “situational leadership” in class I have got interested in the term that situational

approach “views the continual development of followers”. Yes.

Beside the developmental level of the followers and the leadership style, the leader follows as

per the level, looking the followers grow both on commitment and competence is the effective

output of the leadership. Otherwise one leader cannot direct everyone every time unless the

followers get developed and take over some tasks so that the leader can watch over the

developing ones. So I should not only apply the effective leadership style but also work on

followers to grow on their skills and motivation.
