3.2.6 QSD remote signalling panels
tought to be possible to send an alarm caused
by a possible malfunction from a distancs, so that
it is immediately obvious to medical personnel
and specialized technicians.
The QSD remote signalling panels also rezort
alarm signals relating to a low insulation situation
or in the case of electrical or thermal overload of
the transformer, making it possible to identify
the type of fault
Characteristics
(QS0-DIG 230/24 control panels can be installed
easily in universal flush-mounted boxes with
three modules. They have a test pushbutton for
periodically checking their operation and a sec-
‘ond pushbutton that allows the simultaneous si-
lencing of the acoustic signal ofall the panels
‘that may be connected to the same ISOLTESTER
insulation montroring device.
‘With QSD-DIG 230/24 it is possible to distinguish,
‘even remotely, the type of alarm; in other words
whether itis caused, for example, by low resis-
tance, an overload or an overcurrent (identification
‘of the malfunction type). QSD-DIG 230/24 was de-
signed to be fully compatible with all ABB insula-
tion monitors for 230 and 24 V lines, both currently
manufactured models and earlier versions:
