 How to the study further envisages examining the role of the corporate governance on
the financial performance of banks in Ethiopia.?
3 General objective of the study
The general objective of this study will be to Investigate the broad size independence of the broad
members and frequency of the broad meetings on the performance of public and private
commercial bank in Ethiopia.

performances ofpublic and private commercial banks in Ethiopia,?

 Ha1 there is a significant positive association between broad members and the fre
quinsy of broad meetings of the performance of public and privet commercial
banks in Ethiopia.
 Ha2 there is a significant positive association between the composition and the role of
the board of director of commercial banks in Ethiopia.
 Ha3 there is a significant positive association between the selection criteria for board
membership and remuneration being paid to the member of the board of directors.
 Ha4 there is a significant positive association between the role of the corporate
governance on the financial performance of banks in Ethiopia.
