HIS 3105 From Source to Text (3 units)
Historians extract useable information from often fragmented material
created for various other purposes. This course will provide students
with the tools needed to handle specific types of sources (textual, visual,
oral or material) or introduce them to specific methods and approaches
(such as geographic information system, quantitative methods, micro-
history etc.) Topics will vary from section to section and the course can
