The New Norm

Coronavirus has evolved into a major pandemic that has

engulfed the entire world. It is one of the major plot twists
that brought about a significant change in the world in just
two years. To avoid respiratory complications when
attacked by a virus like the Novel Corona Virus, we should
always combine a healthy diet with a consistent physical
workout because, as cliche as it may sound, boosting one's
immune system is a big step toward staying healthy.
A healthy diet is as beneficial to your lungs as it is to the
rest of your body. In fact, low levels of certain nutrients
have been linked to a variety of lung diseases, according
to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Eating
foods high in vitamins A, C, and E, as well as minerals zinc,
potassium, selenium, and magnesium, will all help keep
your respiratory health in good shape. Meanwhile, regular
exercise improves circulation and strengthens our
muscles, both of which are necessary for healthy lungs to
function properly. That is why exercise helps them
become more efficient.
Having adequate knowledge and correct preventive
behavior against COVID-19 will ensure that nursing
students are prepared to respond to similar public health
crises in the future. The findings of this study provide
baseline information on the COVID-19 virus's emerging
mutations and complications. To effectively apply my
knowledge of this topic, I should be able to encourage and
educate others about how important this body system is
and how a simple lack of consideration can lead to a wide
scope of complications.
Lastly, COVID-19 pandemic will always be linked to the
respiratory system as it is the body system that is primarily
targeted by this virus. It attacks and deteriorates the
system and further creates a short or long term
complication that may still be of effect for the times to
come. To reiterate the essence of the respiratory system,
we should maintain a healthy lifestyle because it is the
only key that we could use to combat many diseases to
come.
