Production The Moulding process

THE PROCESS
Many of the Dottir designs have taken years to
bring to life.

Making ceramics is a complex process. As all processes are made by

hand there might be small differences between two similar items in
both shape and color adding to the personality of the products.

The casting process is affected by humidity and the glazing process is

affected by where in the kiln the product is placed during firing.

Only very few ceramic manufacturers in the world are able to handle
the advanced production and unique glazing processes.
