Critical information in brief


Corona occupational health and safety ordinance repealed: The German government has repealed the Corona
Occupational Health and Safety Ordinance as of February 02, 2023. Therefore, the TUM-Infektionsschutzkonzept has
also been discontinued as of February 02, 2023.

Home office: A framework agreement between TUM and the General Employee Council governing remote working and
including options for ‘Telearbeit’ and ‘mobiles Arbeiten’ went into effect on 1 May 2022. Details: HR FAQ

Studying, teaching, exams: Special regulations no longer apply for attending in-person courses and examinations.
Please note that different regulations may apply to the University Hospital.

Hygiene: General hygiene and ventilation measures should be maintained.

Vaccines work: Make use of vaccination (/en/news-and-events/coronavirus)offers of your general practitioner.

Stay home in case of infections: Individuals who have tested positive for the coronavirus or who have symptoms of
transmissible infectious diseases should still not participate in university activities on site.
