support ASL skill development.
● Work with other fellows to develop specific programming and resources to
support graduate students in various fields. This may include facilitating ASL
gatherings, hosting workshops with departments to teach discipline-specific
vocabulary, and sending out a newsletter on a bi-weekly or monthly basis with
tips and spotlights.
● Maintain the materials that provide coaching for professional presentations in
ASL

● Serve as liaison between the Graduate Student Resource Center, the Summer
Bilingual Programs Coordinator, and the ASL Immersion presenters and
facilitators, support students in navigating the campus, and connect students with

● Mentor graduate students to ensure a positive experience as they build ASL
skills and are immersed in Deaf culture, and are engaged in program activities.
