knowledge, the impact will be felt at the point of care with the implementation of
fragmented systems that misalign with nursing workflows. Your reactions to this
statement.
Clinical expertise, interpersonal communication, systems thinking, adaptability,
teamwork, quality assurance, and human resource management are all abilities that
strong nursing leadership demands. If the leaders fail, employees may become
dissatisfied with the absence of effective, necessary action and leave the organization,
further eroding its strengths. Failure to lead can also become habitual, weakening the
organization's leadership "muscles" and making it much more difficult to lead in the
future.

2. In your own words discuss the Four main themes were identified concerning the
nurse leader’s role?
The four essential obligations of leaders in order to create operating efficiencies
that is safe, dependable, and effective. These four roles are linked to newer, more
empowered leadership approaches including transforming and authentic leadership.
Keeping the learning system safe by completely engaging in self-reflection that leads to
transparency, understanding and applying improvement science, reliability science, and
continuous learning, and motivating that effort throughout the company. Creating
psychological safety by ensuring that anybody in the organization, including patients
and their families, can freely express their concerns, comments, and change ideas.
Building trust requires building an environment of unwavering respect, ensuring that
people's perspectives are appreciated and that any bad or abusive behavior is
immediately addressed. Ensure value alignment by applying organizational values to all
decisions, whether they are made for the sake of safety, effectiveness, patient-
centeredness, timeliness, efficiency, or equity.
