Introduction :

Quiz Application” is a collection of a number of different types of quizzes like technical, games,
sports, etc. A user can access/play the entire quiz and can attempt any of the one. There will be a
limited number of questions and for each correct answer the user will get a credit score. Users
can see answers as well as can ask a query related to it. There are many quiz applications
available currently on the internet. But there are few which provide better understanding between
users and the application like, providing proper answers, user query Solving, uploading user
questions as well as answer to it, etc. To develop a user-friendly quiz application which will
contain : Numbers of quiz, Answers to every question, Query solving regarding any question,
Uploading of user question and answer, and to improve the knowledge level of users.
Literature Review :

The Quiz App is rated in the top 5 aptitude applications in the android market developed by Sindu
Rajan and designed by Yalini Kumaraguru. Pocket Aptitude is a collection of 10+ quantitative
aptitude questions and word problems frequently asked in competitive examinations and
placement papers. It is designed as a preparation tool for job aspirants and those waiting to
crack CAT, NTSE and various bank exams. People with an inclination towards mathematics can
use this app to sharpen their IQ, test their aptitude skills and enrich their knowledge. This
application has various fine points and flaws provides good user interface but only for practice
tests but the questions being asked are of old pattern and not in trend. The main motto is to
make this app work faster and efficiently enough for students to make the most out of it.

The Logical Reasoning and Aptitude application developed by the team is also a popularly used
aptitude test application. Logical Reasoning helps in improving problem-solving skills by
focusing on Logical Reasoning Questions. Logical Reasoning will help you in preparation of
admissions tests and other different kinds of exams, but the user interface is not interactive, the
user has to scroll horizontally to view the entire answer. It just has MCQs for test and score
evaluation.

Methodology :

During the making of this project Agile methodology was used. We already know that there are
many advantages of the agile method in comparison with the waterfall method. Clients
describe its needs and expectations in the beginning and with the constant evaluation and
iteration of several phases it works better to meet customer’s expectations. Any kind of
modification can be easily achieved by following this methodology. In making of this project
initially more emphasis was given to the basic structure that is simple login page then redirect
to the quiz and then the scores. By constant iteration of different phases.
Many functionalities were added to the application like more interactive interface, various
articles in the form of blogs, a portal to put queries by user to the administrator etc.
Results and Discussion :

1. Flowchart for login:

2. Implementation :

Conclusion:

This research paper discusses the fine points and flaws of top android aptitude applications. By
considering the need of the students for placements and other entrance exams, this application
has been developed in the most preferred mobile operating system i.e. Android. This application
has been developed to overcome the flaws in the existing system like properly categorizing the
sections, providing section wise questions, random set of questions, maintaining score board
along with a user friendly and attractive and easy to use user interface. It has been designed to
ask both types of questions like multiple choice and textual questions. This ability of this app
helps to take the assessment of the user more easily. It is designed as a preparation tool for job
aspirants and various aptitude tests.
