WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR A PERSON TO SUCCEED

Enlightening self-interest: All of us have self-interests. The key for you to be enlightened so that
everybody wins and no one loses, is to survive; ‘what does it take to survive?’ Is to succeed; ‘’what does
it take to succeed?’’. What does it take for me personally to succeed and to survive?

Can I be legitimately be interested in the things that can make me both survive and succeed in this life?
Here is the answer; YES.

It’s possible to exercise self-interest, that to do it in such a way that no one loses, but everyone benefits.
Key phrase; “Life was not designed to give us what we need, but rather to give us what we deserve”

We don’t reap harvest in the form because we need it, we reap harvest in the form because we deserve
it. Not necessarily from a moral stand point, of course there is some moral laws as well as spiritual laws.
But just the basic laws that simply says “if you wish to reap, you must plant”. So, “Reaping is revived for
planters” and the reason they reap because they deserve it. The BIBLE says “keep knocking and the door
will be opened”. If you keep knocking you will find open doors, doors of opportunity, doors open to find
someone special, doors open to find unique business colleagues, doors of a chance to meet someone,
doors open for associations. If you keep knocking a door, doors of opportunity will open for those who
continuously knock. So, we don’t find open doors of opportunities because we need them NO, we find
them because we deserve.

Only those who knock deserve to find open doors. But the promise is if you can continually knock, you
find doors of opportunities open. It’s as if you search, you will find. So make the note: “it’s good, finding
is reserved for the searchers because they deserve it”. Now at first they may have needed them, but
they now know just needing it is not is not the vision but they need it now because they qualify for it.

The reason why you’re going to be blessed with good ideas, because you’ve searching, now you’re ready
to receive. And for those who search, they will find answers, they will find new plans, imagination to
install yourself in the action for future benefits. So if you search to find good ideas, you must go looking
and searching, you’ve got to go to church, to class, to the seminar, to the library, to the books if you
wish to find. Really does a good idea interrupt you, really? But if you will search, you will find. So we get
no what we need, but we get what we deserve. It’s as if you ask, someone has an answer. If keep asking
the answer belongs to you. So we do not get what we need but what we deserve. So it’s the beginning
of the process, make that note that, “I want to begin a process of deserving.” What would that be, what
process should I begin in engaging in to deserve good health, to deserve a good relationship, prosperity,
an enterprise, the opportunity to start a city.

What must I do to begin the process of deserving? Now many get salaries after work to help take care of
her children. Not because she needs it but because she is beginning to deserve it. Again at work they
add her another work to do and after they promise to increase her salary. And step by step she knew life
is imaging, learning the process of deserving and not to just to needing. We teach our children, right? So
a child says I need 10 dollars. There is plenty of money here and the first of all, to say I need 10 dollars is
fault. So he says how can I get 10 dollars that I need. So here is what they learn to say; how can I earn 10
dollars, now the door is opens up? Now the money starts to follow. How can I earn 10 dollars? What can
I earn 10 dollars? Now to get the money because you need it, indeed you need the money. That’s,
allover a sadden you begin to figure out how to open the fault, how to open the bank, how to open this
unbelievable flow of resources to come our way. And here is the key, “you deserve it not to need.” You
can’t walkout to the field and say to the field I need a crop. Here is what the field says, here is what the
ground says, “who is this crown that brings me his need but brings me no seed.’

So take the seed to the market place not your need, don’t disclose your need to that market place only
your wiliness because the market place is not interested in your need, but there interest in your seed,
there interested in your wiliness to work, there interested in your DISCIPLINE, there interested in your
CONTRIBUTION, interested in your VITALITY and your workathy that’s what they’re interested in not
your need but your seed.

We get what we deserve, in old testament GOD says, “If you move forward, I will move you forward.”
You must make the move. God says, “If you don’t move, I don’t move.” So, the law says, “If you wish to
receive ---- now let’s talk about;

Enlightening self-interest. If you wish to receive, and we will recall the saying; receiving is reserved for
those who give, receiving is not for those who need, it’s deserved for those who deserve it.” We deserve
receiving by Giving. In fact there is extra ordinary phrase; “it’s to give, than it is to receive.” Now the
uneducated person it will be difficult in that statement. Why would it be better to give than to receive?
Let me give you the phrase of the day; “Giving starts to receiving process.” So, of course it’s better to
give than to receive. How many recievings do you wish, you must start the receiving process. For me to
receive my additional fortune is for the future not necessarily for the money because I don’t need the
money I take the money but I don’t need the money. But here is what I need for some to say a year from
now, five years from now Mr. Rohn, this seminar have to change your life. And for whatever reason I
was brought here to this place for this time and later someone says that see receive that kind of thanks
it’s unbelievable.
