Batch Management
Batch management is used to identify one lot of production from another. This helps in
tracking the lots during their life-cycle, as well as recording the unique characteristics of each
lot. For instance, the expiry date or date of production of 2 lots can be different.
Batch Management can be applied to both process and discrete manufacturing industry.
So, let’s see FIFO Process , and also configurations

For standard Characteristics just search by keyword “LOBM”

Activate the batch management at purchasing view

Enter here Minimum remaining shelf life and total shelf life
Important: the date of production must be entered in the goods receipt

You can check Sort Sequence and Selection classes are existing or not

➢ Create PO Via ME21N

Here I am receiving the 500 Pac 4 times, and for each time I will receive 100 Pac

Most enter the date of manufacturer

➢ Check Expiry date of batches Via MB5M

➢ Check the stock via MMBE

➢ Display the Batch Via MSC3N

➢ Issue the Batch Via MIGO

Enter the all required date like, Cost centre, Plant and storage. etc and come to the quantity
tab and then Click on Stock Determination

Here first expiring batch will come first, and then click copy

➢ Check the stock MMBE

Enter Material, and then Execute

Display selection result stock

You can also track the batch using “Manage Batches App”

You can check the expiration date

Select the batch and click on Arrow button

Here you can see the history of batch
