To give an overview for the incoming students to get a sense of what course they will fit into, the
administrative/executive assistant in WCC, who is Ms. Trixcie P. Santos was interviewed.

companies use SAP, one of our largest companies in the Philippines does, which is Robinsons,
as Ms. Trixcie stated."

kanila. Kasama din doon yung pagtuturo sa kanila ng SAP which is most of the company dito sa
Philippines ay gumagamit na ng SAP system. So yung student natin dito may advantage na
sila, unlike sa ibang school hindi sila nakakaranas ng SAP. More on operation siya ng isang
company na though di lahat ng company but one of the largest company natin sa PIlipinas ay
gumagamit ng SAP which is Robinsons.]

Then the Bachelor of Science in

Accountancy provides general accounting
instruction to students who want to work as
accountants in the civil service, particularly
as public accountants. Accountancy
analyzes, liquidates, and records all the
cash flows of the company. It is considered
the lifeblood of the company. The students

to take exams for accountancy certifications

Moving to the Communication and Arts program, it covers writing, speaking, reading, listening,

students in this program can pursue careers in advertising, public relations, radio, journalism,
digital media, management, and international organizations.

According to Ms. Trixcie, "We give OJT at Magsaysay, which is where they take a SOLAS. Our

graduate students won't have a hard time because you need SOLAS to go on a cruise, and of

course the salary is big there, right? So just by studying at WCC, they can get SOLAS training
there. SOLAS is like a passport for cruising, so for example, one of the students that we have
that get an OJT there is that their cruise has a stopover in Spain, so they have the freedom to
roam in Spain."

[We give OJT sa Magsaysay which is doon kumukuha ng SOLAS. Hindi na mahihirapan yung
students natin kasi kailangan mo ng SOLAS para makapag-cruise and siyempre malaki yung
sahod doon, di ba?. So sa pamamagitan ng pag-aaral sa WCC pwede silang makakuha ng
SOLAS training doon. Yung SOLAS is para siyang passport para sa cruise, so example,one of
the students natin na nag-OJT is kapag yung cruise nila nag-stop over sa Spain, may freedom
sila, pwede silang gumala ng Spain.]

The criminology course studies

crime and the functions played
by the various justice-related
agencies in relation to crime,
offenders, and victims. Students
should be interested in a variety
of topics, including biology,
sociology, psychology, and law,
as well as the theories behind
explaining crime and assisting
investigators at crime scenes.

be a policeman; the program is giving them knowledge that they can also enter the army. And
in almost all possible entrances for a crime student we let them experience it, like they can also
enter the bureau of fires, and we are also giving them real-life experiences regarding their
course so that they can really know and have a grasp on how they will work in the future. So we
are showing them a lot of options in the industry, not just to be a policeman.”

mong criminology student, is maiisip mo na pagpupulis. But dito sa WCC hindi lang siya pag-
pupulis, yung program is binibigyan silang knowledge na pwede nilang pasukan din ung army.

ng pwede sila makapasok ng bureau of fires and we give them real-life experiences regarding
