For many years music has been influential and changing throughout the times.

Ballet has

been the first to take music to a new level of expression and artistry. This painting of ballet

dancers has the influence of music and art. Classical music came to mind as soon as I viewed the

painting, I could hear the elegance of classical music playing in my head. Classical music is a

genre of art music that arose in Europe during the 11th century. It typically involves complex

instrumental works and polyphonic vocal works, both of which are performed by trained

musicians. Many people still enjoy listening to classical music, as it is relaxing and soothing.

Classical Music is one of the oldest and most influential types of music there is. It has been

around for centuries and has been constantly evolving. Many famous composers such as Bach,

Beethoven, and Mozart have composed some of the most famous pieces of classical music to

date. This was a time when music started to be composed and written down, rather than just

being passed down orally. It consists of various sections and each section has various parts that

come together to make a beautiful piece of music. Classical music was a period where music

started to take shape and develop into what we know it as today.

The colors and the poses of the ballet dancers are like a small symphonic piece of music.

The painting grabs your attention with its beauty, something that classical music does so well.

The poses of the ballet dancers in the middle of the painting are delicate and flowing, just as a

classical piece should be. The ballet dancers tell a story through their movement, and often music

tells a similar story. It is interesting to see how classical music has influenced art over the years.

Classical music and this painting go hand and hand and could easily be combined as one. This

painting tells a song of young ballet dancers preparing for and concert and gossiping while they

wait. It speaks of youth and talent. The small hints of color could be the theme of the music.

Even though this painting is dated, it still has a timeless appeal like classical music.
