STAGE 1 - PRE-THESIS
TOPIC AND SYNOPSIS SUBMISSION

Dear students,
As part of the pre-thesis stage (topic selection and synopsis preparation), you will be having
a thesis topic submission on 20th Feb 2023 (Monday). You need to submit three topics
according to your preferences (preference 1, preference 2, and preference 3) along with aim of
the project (i.e. what you hope to achieve).
Please note the important dates and deliverables:
 Date for Screening 1: 20th Feb 2023
Form of submission: 3 TOPICS (Submission– project title and aim of the project - 1ppt
maximum 3 slides)
 Date for Screening 2: 22nd March 2023
Form of submission: 2 TOPICS (Presentations, 2 ppts (no slide limit) - with detailed
synopsis- i.e. introduction, aim, objective, methodology, need, scope, limitation (if any), and
site introduction (location, area, feasibility).
