Landscapes are the first thing that spring to mind when you think
about nature in art. Since ancient times, we have been moved to
express ourselves in ways other than words by the beauty of the
natural world. ranging from high-impact modern images of the
animal kingdom to Paleolithic cave paintings. However, the current
environmental catastrophe has inspired a new artistic movement
that goes beyond simply capturing and portraying nature as in the
past, to making nature the subject of the work.
