TITLE School trip around Spain concise, clear, and to the point

INTRODUCTION Introduction same word in heading

The purpose of this report is to describe and evaluate the fortnight-long trip around Spain that we, as
students of our geography class, did the past February, as well as assess its usefulness and give some
recommendations.

PARAGRAPH & Route heading #1

ASPECT #1 We set off to the North of Iberia and first headed to the Basque Country, where vast beaches with
wavy shores were awaiting us. After spending two more days between the green, lush Asturias and
Cantabria, we crossed the huge Meseta Central, and continued toward the South of the country. In
the beginning of our second week, we took a ship to the African Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla,
structure wise
which we left two days after to visit the volcanic geology of Tenerife, Canarias. Our last destination
language used: narration was the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, before heading back to the Pyrenees and Catalunya.

Educational value
PARAGRAPH &
The route traced was well-organised, and provided enough time in each place we visited to learn about its
ASPECT #2 geography and experience its nature. The North of the country was proven to be potentially the coldest, as it
is close to the Atlantic. We understood the radical contrast of the vegetation with the South, which is closer
to the Tropic of Cancer and therefore lives in a drier climate. Moreover, visiting El Teide was a fulfilling,
educational experience, as we could learn a lot about volcanoes thanks to a hike with a guide who instructed
us in this unusual habitat. Nevertheless, is was because we were very tired that our last destination,
Mallorca, was not as educationally enriching.

Accomodation and extracurricular activities

PARAGRAPH & Some of the places in which we stayed were overall small, taking into consideration that we were a large
ASPECT #3 group. In spite of this, the fact that we got shared rooms and bunk beds created a friendly,
companionship-like atmosphere, which is key during a school trip. Besides, during mealtime, we shared our
learnings with enthusiasm and even learned more by listening to our classmates. In the same sense, we
enjoyed ourselves during the trip by rafting in Río Genil, collecting volcanic rocks in Tenerife, and exploring
Coves del Drach in Mallorca.

CONCLUSION Conclusion same word in heading

As a conclusion, I believe that a school trip around Spain is a recommendable experience. This
country offers a rich variety of geographic phenomenons, and has a nice offer of activities in contact
with nature for young or adventurous travelers. It would be highly advisable to distribute the time
available, and to consider the density of such trip to avoid fatigue or disinterest.
