Hurricane Katrina is one of the biggest, deadliest and most


dangerous hurricane in the history of USA. Katrina belong into
the 5th category of Atlantic hurricanes. Katrina killed 1833
people in New Orleans, actually 80% houses in New Orleans
was under water and 705 people were disappeared. On
24.8.2005. Katrina began on Atlantic Ocean and she came in
New Orleans. When she came to the second landfall on
Mississipi border, her wind speed was 125 mph and her lowest
pressure was 920 MB. Four years later, thousand people are still
lived in their shelters and camp houses. Even she has got strong
influence on environment and besides, from the coast of
Louisiana 34 million liters of oil are spilled. Her highest wind
speed was 280 km/h. On 25.8.2005. Katrina grows into the 1 st
category of Atlantic hurricanes with 80 miles an hour wind
speed in Florida. After four days her wind speeds slow back on
the 4th category with 60 miles southeast of New Orleans.
