Case study

1- A country with few oil suppliers will prefer to produce bioethanol because this
product is not scarce like oil and if the country want to keep that little amount
of oil for the future it will be better for them to produce other fuel, like
bioethanol. √This change in production might increase the farmer´s profit due
to the worldwide necessity of new sources of energy as oil and gas are so scarce
2- The reason why biofuels are so used by governments and other organizations
are many; at first, its placed under land that could be used for crops in near
future, and so governments try to take all they can of that oil before working
the soil to make most profit from it. second reason is that plants may also be
useful with bioethanol because of its nature that extends the productions of
sugar, for example and the last reason and the most important (not to us but to
the governments) is that is a very safe investment to drain oil. Nowadays oil is a
strange resource so its value starts to rise while time goes on, this means that
all the countries want some of it before its gets drained absolutely. This also
means a great source of money to the country. √
3- For a farmer, maybe is easier to grow crops in other to sell them in some
market, as regular food, but selling bioethanol brings a lot of benefits, for
example It is a possible replacement to oil and fossil fuels (that are not
renewable resources), and are much easier to produce, so this could be a
solution to the countries that does do not have much enough oil, so they could
produce their own fuel on a safer quicker and easier way. There are some
disadvantages, but a farmer usually is not affected by those factors. √
