Cheating in exams is one of the biggest problems in education.

The two sides of the

debate are strict discipline or reminders when students are arrested for cheating. Schools
should strict punishments when cheating because this is a behavior that reflects the
student's morality

First of all, reporting to the parents is one of the ideal answers to avert students from
cheating. In this case, when a teacher calls their parents to school for reporting, the
students who are caught cheating in the exam will be thrilled, frightened, and shocked
when they ought to face their parents to solve the problem. They may feel disappointed,
ashamed, and scared when having in the face to face communication with parents.

Secondly, expelling from school for several years is the most acute punishment ever for
a student. So, the expelled student might regret their mistakes, they may not repeat again
next time due to the fact that they do not want to be expelled from school again.
Additionally, it's sure that expelling the cheated student from school for a month or a
year is also a punishment for them to give lessons.

Many people think that harsh punishments are unnecessary, it affects

students' psychology. Many deaths from exam pressure happened too painfully.
However, severe punishments are applied to make students aware of their own
moral problems. If not strictly applied, students will re-offend in many next
lanes, thereby creating a bad moral behavior with the school, family and
society.

In short, exam cheating is still a controversial issue in schools. Schools need to consider
penalties on the importance of a particular exam.
