NOTE This manual is not intended to instruct or assist untrained or unqualified persons to install this product.LOCATION AND INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS MECHANICAL ISSUES - According to safety regulations, the lowest point of the fan blade must be at least 2.5m (8.2 feet) from the floor. Please, make sure the chosen location will not allow the rotating fan blades to come into contact with any objects. - Ensure ceiling joists are sound and of adequate size and strength to support a weight of 35kg. To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or personal injury, ensure that the fan mounting bracket is supported directly from the building structure. DO NOT mount to an outlet box. - The mounting bracket must be firmly screwed to a load bearing structure, e.g. a concrete ceiling, steel structure or timber frame. Ifa timber frame is added, it must be securely nailed or screwed between two beams. - To reduce risk of personal injury and property damage, do not bend or damage the downrod or the fan blades when handling or installing them. If you notice any product imperfections, please contact our after-sales service before proceeding to install the fan. Make sure the ceiling fan is securely fastened tothe ceiling. All set screws must be checked and re-tightened where necessary before fan operation, ELECTRICAL ISSUES ~ Always turn the power off before servicing the ceiling fan, tum off the circuit breaker that feeds the power to the light. To avoid possible electric shock, make sure electricity is tuned off at the fuse box or circuit breaker panel before wiring. The fan, mounting bracket and light kit must be earthed, Ensure all spliced connections are adequately insulated. Check and confirm that all connections are proper and secure. When all the electrical connections are done, store all wires neatly -Do not attempt to control this fan from any wall or remote control that is not approved by the manufacturer for use with this fan, DO NOT use a solid state controler. The use of an unapproved wall or remote control will oid the warranty, Do not connect the ceiling fan to a dimmer switch or a regulator. GENERAL INFORMATION — -Allelectric motors, including fan motors, make some noise and may feel hot to the touch. This is nota fault and will occur under normal circumstances. + Ceiling fans tend to move during operation due to the fact that they are not rigidly mounted. (Rigid mountings can generate excessive vibration and stress to the mountings). Movement of a couple of centimetres is not unusual and does not suggest that the fan will fall down. SUMMER/WINTER MODE Ceiling fans are an environmentally sensitive choice to help keep your home cool as well as warm. During summer mode: they work by creating air flow which provides a cooling sensation to skin. The faster the speed of the air flow, the cooler we will feel. During winter mode: your fan runs on low speed in reverse. Warm air rises to the ceiling, where it cannot be felt by the occupants of a room, especially in ateas with high ceilings. Running the fen slowly in reverse moves air gently upwards, forcing warm air down the walls of the room where it mixes with the cooler air below. Remove the cotter pin from the clevis pin and pull the clevis pin out. 2. Unscrew the fixing screws. 3. Push the downrod into the top of the motor housing and align the holes on the downrod. 4, Insert the clevis pin back in and lock it with the cotter pin. 5. Fasten the fixing screws. ATTACHING THE DOWNROD TO THE MOTOR HOUSING ‘Align the hole on each decorative arm with those of the motor housing and tighten four screws to fix the decorative assembly to the motor housing.EN FAN ASSEMBLY 1. Hang the motor housing on the mounting bracket. Rotate the fan so that the notch on the ball engages the ridge in the mounting bracket. 2. Place the remote control receiver in the slot on the mounting bracket as shown in the figure. WIRES’ CONNECTION Wire in the remote control receiver as shown in the diagram below. The terminal block on the mounting bracket must be located between the receiver's output wire and the motor’s light wires. Unscrew the two canopy-ixing screws halfway attached at the bottom of the mounting bracket. Slide the top canopy up the downrod onto the mounting bracket. Turn the canopy until the fixing screws lock into position end then fasten the screws.EN TO INSTALL THE BLADES Motor Assembly Blade Connector 1. Plug the connector and screw the lighting plate to 4, Twist the glass shade into the light fixture. the motor assembly using the three screws you removed in step 1EN FAN OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS To switch between Summer/Winter function, flip the reverse switch up or down to change the direction of rotation, ‘The remote control uses 2x 1.5v batteries (included). Mount the remote control holder on the wall using the sorews provided. 10EN REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES REMOTE CONTROL STOP Turns the fan OFF LIGHT — Turns the light ON and OFF 1H Fansstops after 1 hour 2H Fan stops after 2 hours 4H Fan stops after 4 hours 8H Fan stops after 8 hours LOW Low speed MED Medium speed HIGH High speed ‘The fan has 3 speeds. The timer has 4 settings: 1 indicator light on: The light will turn off after 1 hour. + Zindicator lights on: The light will turn off after 2 hours. +3 indicator lights on: The light will turn off after 4 hours. + 4 indicator lights on: The light will turn off after 8 hours. OPERATION AND PRECAUTIONS 1) To pair the remote and the receiver, connect the fan, wait for 30 seconds and then press the (®) button on the remote control for 5 seconds. When you hear a long beep, it means the remote and the receiver are successfully paired. 2) Ifthe remote control is not working, please check the batteries are inserted correctly. If they are placed the right side up and it's still not working check ifthe batteries have enough power in them 3) Ifthe batteries are charged and placed correctly but the remote is not working, check i there is a similar remote control working nearby. Two controllers with the same frequency will interfere with each other. 4) Battery power will affect the remote's sensitivity and reach, please replace the battery when the power's low. 5) Ifthe remote is not going to be used for an extended period of time, please remove the batteries. 6) The maximum input power of the light kit is 300W. 1EN TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS 1. The fan will not start a) Check that mains circuit breakers are in the ON position. b) Check that the wall switch is in the ON position. ) Check that the batteries in the remote control (if any) are in good coneition, 4) Carty out and complete the pairing process for the remote control and the receiver. e) Check that the live, neutral, ground and light (if any) wires from the wall switch and the remote receiver (if any) to the fan are all wired correctly and in accordance with the wiring diagram. f) Check that all wire connections at wall switch, wite connector and/or terminal block are secured (not loose) 2. The fan sounds noisy a) Fully tighten the light fitting (version with light). ) Re-tighten all screws on the fan blades (do not over tighten). ¢) Rettighten all screws found in the mounting bracket and covering plate. 3. The fan makes a mechanical noise a) Let the fan run for about 8 hours to allow it to settle in. 4. The fan tums but does not move much air. a) The fan may be running in reverse (for fans with reverse running option). b) The distance from the ceiling to the fan blades is too small. ¢) The room may contain items which obstruct air flow. d) The fan may be too small fr the size of the room 5. The fan wobbles Check for wobbling after each step: a) Check that all ofthe blade brackets are securely tightened. b) Most wobble problems result from inconsistent blade levelling. To check if the blades are level, measure the distance from each blade tip tothe ceiling. f measurements are inconsistent, you will have to readjust the brackets. ) A wobbling problem could also be a result from deviations in the distance between blades. Should measurements vary, loosen the screws connecting the blades to the brackets (one at a time) then shift the blade to its correct, position and re-tighten the screws. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household wastes throughout the EU. INFORMACION GENERAL = Todos los motores eléctricos, incluyendo los motores de los ventiladores, hacen tacto. Esto no es ningin fallo, - Los ventiladores de techo tienden a moverse durante su operacién dado que no estan instalados fis. (Los montajes rigidos pueden generar vibracisn excesiva y tension sobre la estructura). Es normal que se mueva un par de centimetios, esto no quiere decir que se vaya a caer. FUNCION VERANO/INVIERNO - Los ventiladores de techo son una opcién respetuosa con el medio ambiente que ayuda a mantener tu casa tanto fresea como célida, + En el modo de verano: funciona creando una cortiente de aire que causa una sensacién reftescante en la piel. Cuanto més répida sea la Velocidad de la corriente de aire, mayor seré la sensacién de frescor. En el modo de invierno: su ventilador funciona en direcci6n inversa a una velocidad mas baja. EI aire caliente asciende hasta el techo donde no se puede notar por los ocupantes de una habitacién, especialmente en habitaciones con techos muy altos. INSTALACION DEL SOPORTE DE MONTAJE | TECHOS DE MADERA TECHOS DE HORMIGON/ESCAYOLA Sujete de manera segura el soporte de montaje con los Taladre agujeros con una broca de 8mm, acorde con la Cuatro tomillos para madera y arandelas provistos alas longitud de los tornillos de expansién. Después, fje el vigas. soporte de montaje con los tolls de expensién. 15Es MONTAJE DE LA CARCASA DECORATIVA. Utilice 4 tomillos (uno por brazo) pata unir los brazos al anillo decorativo. Cubierta decorate MONTAJE DE LA CARCASA DECORATIVA Pase los cables del ventilador desde el motor, por la barra de suspension, la cubierta decorativa, la carcasa decorativa y el florén hasta el techo. 16CONEXIGN DE LA BARRA DE SUSPENSION ALA CARGASA DEL MOTOR 1. Retire el pasador de bloqueo del perno y saque el peino, 2. Desatornille los tomilos de fijacién. 3. Introduzca la barra de suspensién en la parte de superior de la carcasa del motor y alinee los agujeras de la barra de suspensién. 4, Vuelva 2 introducir el pero y bloquéelo con el pasador de blogueo. 5. Apriete os tommillos de fijacién. 17 CONEXION DE LA BARRA DE SUSPENSION ALA CARCASA DEL MOTOR Alinee los agujeros en cada brazo decorativo con los de la carcasa del motor y atornille 4 tornillos para unit la carcasa decorativa a la carcesa del motor. ESMONTAJE DEL VENTILADOR 1. Cuelgue la carcasa del motor del soporte de montaje. Gire el ventilador de manera que la ranura en la bola de la barra de ssuspensién coincida con la muesca en el soporte de montaje. 2. Coloque el receptor del mando a distancia en el hueco del soporte de montaje como se muestra en la imagen. CABLES DEL VENTILADOR Y RED ELECTRICA Realice las conexiones para conectar el receptor del mando a distancia tal y como se muestra en el diagrama que encontraré a continuacién. La regleta debe i situada en el soporte de montaje, entre el cable de salida del receptor y los cables de alimentacién del motor. Receptor del mando a distancia El cableado de alimentaci6n del ventilador debe tener tuna seccién minima de Imm. El ventilador debe estar conectado ala toma tierra. Desatorille los dos tomillos que sujetan el florén hasta la mitad en la base del soporte de montaje. Deslice el florén por la barra de suspensién hasta el soporte de montaje. Gira el forén hasta ue los tornillos queden en posicién y vuelve a atornilarios por ‘completo. 19ES PARA INSTALAR LAS ASPAS Carcasa del motor 1. Desatornill los tres torillos que sujetan la placade 2. Uillice 3 tomnllos y arandelas para far cada aspa a LEDs, retire la placa y desconecte los cables. la carcasa del motor. 4 3. El temporizador tiene 4 opciones: +1 luz encendida: La luz se apagaré en 1 hora + 2luces encendidas: La luz se apagaré en 2 horas + 3luces encendidas: La luz se apagaré en 4 horas + 4 luces encendidas: La luz se apagard en 8 horas USO Y PRECAUCIONES 1) Para enlazar el mando con el receptor, conecte el ventilador, espere 30 segundos y presione el boién @) en el mando durante 5 segundos. Cuando oiga un pitido largo, querré decir que el mando y el receptor se han enlazado correctamente. 2) Si el mando no funciona compruebe que las pilas estén bien puestes. Si estén puestas correctamente y todavia no funciona puede que las pilas estén descargadas. 3) Silas pilas estén cargadas y bien puestas pero el mando no funciona, busque si se esté utilizando algin otro mando cerca. Dos mandos con la misma frecuencia pueden interferr el uno con el otro. 4) La carga de las pilas afectard la sensibilidad y el alcance del mando. Por favor, cambie las pilas cuando se estén acabando. 5) Sino va a utilizar el mando durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado, por favor, quitele las pilas. 6) La carga maxima que soporta la lmpara son 300W. 22ES RESOLUCION DE PROBLEMAS 1. El ventilador no arranca 2) Asegirese de que los disyuntores de connexion estén encencidos. b) Compruebe que el interruptor de la uz est en posicién de encendido. ) Confirme que las pilas en el mando a distancia (silo hay) estén en buenas condiciones. 4) Lleve a cabo e! proceso para enlazar el mando con el receptor (silo hay). €) Cercidrese de que los cables fase, toma tiera, neutro y luz (si o hay) que van desde el controlador de pared y del receptor para el mando a distancia hasta el ventilador estn debidamente conectados segiinel diagram de montaje. ) Compruebe que todas las conexiones en el interruptor de pared, la regleta y/o en el conector sean seguras (no estén sueltas). 2. El ventilador hace ruido 2) Apriete bien las lémparas (en la versi6n con luz). b) Vuelva a apretar todos los tornllos en las aspas (no los apriete demasiado). c) Vuelva a apretar todos los tornillos en el soporte y en la cubierta. 3. El ventilador hace un ruido mecénico 2) Tras realizar lainstalacién, puede existrruido mecénico. Deje al menos 8 horas para permitir que se ajusten todas las conexiones de! ventilador. 4, El ventilador gira pero no mueve mucho ait 2) Puede que el ventilador esté funcionando en direccin inversa (para los ventiladores con funcién inverse). b) La distancia del techo hasta las aspas es demasiado corte. c) En la habitacién puede que haya objetos que obstruyan la citculacién del aire, 4d) Quizés el ventilador sea demasiado pequefio para el tamafio de la habitacién. 5. El ventilador se tambalea Compruebe si todavia se tambalea después de cada paso: 2) Compruebe que las escuadras de fjacién de las aspas estan bien apretadas. b) La mayoria de los problemas de los problemas de inestabilidad se deben a que las aspas estén mal niveladas. Para comprobar que las aspas estén niveladas, mida la distancia desde la punta de cada aspa hasta el techo. Si las medidas son inconsistentes, tendré que reajustar las escuadras de fjacién c) También podria deberse a una desviacién en la distancia de aspa a aspa.
