NEW GRADE STRUCTURE
New grade structure in KS3 and KS4
The grades levels have been simplified:
- Level 9: 95%+
- Level 8: 90-9©4%
- Level 7: 80-99%
- Level 6: 70-79%
- Level 5: 60-69%
- Level 4: 50-59% - This is the pass grade
in KS3 and KS4
- Level 3: 40-49%, etc.
BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS
• Read the Behaviour Chart in your classroom!
• Line up outside the room in single file quietly before a lesson.
• Never enter a room unless a teacher is present.
• Follow all teacher instructions.
• You may not stay in rooms unattended during break times.
• Always speak English in lessons and whenever possible.
• Respect the football and basketball pitches rota.
• Talk to a teacher if you face any problems.

• Don´t use your phone at any time on school grounds – it will be

• Don´t use your devices for messaging, games, or any unauthorised
activity
LATE ARRIVALS &
ABSENCES
Registration is at 9.30
• If a student is late, you must inform the tutor and office. This
will be noted in a register.
• If a student is absent from school, a letter, email or phone
call from his or her parent explaining the absence must be
given to the office and tutor.
• Failure to do so will result in the absence being registered as
‘unauthorised’.
• The office and the tutor must be notified of any early
departures.

UNIFORMS
• Incorrect uniform will lead to a Level 1 incident.
• Non-uniform jackets and coats can only worn on days with
cooler weather and should be removed in the classroom.
• Remember to wash uniforms daily.
• PE uniform must be worn (ONLY) on PE days.
