TASK 1 READ THE ARTICLE AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.

What are the three most expensive countries when it comes to the college?
The most expensive countries for university are the United States with $8,202, Chile with $7,654 and Japan with 5,229

What four countries are the cheapest? Do you know where they are on a map?
The four cheapest countries are Denmark, Finland, Germany and Norway since its cost is not $0 so it is free. These
countries in the world are located in Europe

Where do you think your country fits in? It is cheap to go to a public university here? If you don’t know, ask
somebody .
In our country, the cost of university is an accessible means, so most people could enter the university since the cost is
varying between $1,400 and $1,600.

If these are the prices for the public universities, what do you think the private universities might cost on average in
these countries? Write your personal opinion.

If the prices of public universities are rolling with these prices, it means that the prices in private universities are going
to be more expensive since they are independent of the government, so to enter it will be exclusive to the upper middle
class and upper class.

What personalities traits do you think it would be good to have for each of these professions and why?

The personality traits that I think these people should have are to be determined, disciplined, have will and self-
improvement because with these traits they could dedicate themselves completely to studying these professions.

Which of these professions seems most interesting to you?

From my point of view, the most interesting profession for me is that of video game designer since I feel that it is a
career with which I can obtain a good income because it will reach a lot of people who are currently passionate about
the world of video games.

In the chart below list the options of technical careers and describe them in one sentence each.

Do you think these explanations sound reasonable? Do you believe them? Why or why not?

They do sound reasonable because I felt identified with one of the doodles that was mentioned, so I think they sound
reasonable since the meanings that were given to the people you know around you and who make said doodles can also
be evidenced.

What do you usually doodle? Is it explained above? Is it true for you? If your doodles are not explained above what do
you think they indicate about your personality?
I usually scribble my name and if it is explained above since I feel a confident person and apart from that I like to be in
the center of attention in a certain way when I am with my friends.

UNIVERSITY LIFE IN THE UNITED STATES

Do you think you would be comfortable living far away from your family to study at the university like many students
in the U.S? Explain

I would feel comfortable studying at the university away from my parents, since I feel that they would understand that I
am far away for my future and for the person I want to be when I finish university, so I would like to study far away.

How do you think U.S university life is similar to university life in your country? How do you think it is different?
I believe that university life in the United States is more strict and good since they must have good teaching methods
and tools and supplies for students to use to learn, while in our country we do not have all the necessary methods and
instruments to that we students prepare ourselves adequately.

If you were given the opportunity, do you think you would like to study in the United States? Why or why not?

If I did have sufficient resources and the opportunity to go study in the United States, I would leave, since I feel that I
would come out more prepared than in my country, I would acquire a new language and it would also be easier for me
to acquire a good job. for my future, but above all I will go to hear prepare myself as a person.
