Mixture of students from all walks of life and

Telling stories doesn’t require them to know how to write their letters or
know how to draw.
EL students can tell their stories however they feel comfortable talking
(in their native language, native+English, all English)
Drawing
Drawing Booklets: blank pages, spiral bound (purchased as a
notebook or create my own notebooks)
Review what they have done, to figure out where they are going next

sentences (this would not occur until second semester)

Practice
Instructional lesson on transition words (i.e. then,
next, first, second, etc.). The teacher would model
how they would use transition words in writing, in
order to prepare the students for their final
