pues el Cuzco y sus montañas se levantarán contra ellos,
como también ochenta mil soldados, que los esperan prontos al sonido
del tambor y tañido de las bocinas.
En cuanto a mí, tengo mi maccana afilada y escogida mi maza de
armas.
PACHACÚTEC.- Aún no daré mis órdenes, para que algunos puedan
ser persuadidos;
porque podría haber muchos que amen demasiado su sangre.
RUMI-ÑAHUI.- Al ordenar Chayanta que se reúnan todavía los más
valientes,
para obligar a los yuncas a que limpien los caminos y que se vistan de
cuero,

que sirvan en tu palacio.
Venciendo a los chancas, he aniquilado todo su poder. También he

empleando la persuasión, ya el rigor, ya derramando mi sangre, ya
por fin exponiéndome a la muerte.
