THE PHONE

In the middle of the 19th century, in

the year 1854 when the Italian Antonio
Meucci built the first prototype. He built
it to connect his office to his bedroom so
he could talk to his wife, who was
bedridden by illness.

The device could transmit acoustic

signals at a distance by means of
electrical signals.But Meucci had no
money to patent the invention.

In 1876, Alexander Graham Bell

officially patented the telephone

However, in 2002, the Congress of the United States of

America recognized Antonio Meucci as the true inventor of the
telephone.

Steve Jobs revolutionized the mobile

phone industry and new technologies
in 2007, when the first iPhone model
was presented.
