Before telephones appeared, they were letters with which people communicated. The first
telephone was invented by the Italian Antonio Meucci, who in 1854 built his first
prototype. They were a box with a rotating wheel with which you could choose a number
and some speakers with a hanging cable.

Although his patent was not formalized due to economic difficulties, he presented only a
brief description of his invention to the United States Patent Office in 1871.
Years later, in 1876, the Scot Alexander Graham Bell was the first to formally patent it, and
for many years, together with Elisha Gray, they were considered the inventors of the
telephone.

However, nowadays people are using wireless phones. where they can communicate
remotely. The men who used letters to communicate may are seeing through a screen, tasks
are less complicated phones are the most used device in the world.
